Why Iran's Supporting Obama

Just had a quick opportunity today to check out the blog stats and noticed I was linked into a website called Iranians for Obama. Apparently since I've called both Obama and the left on their support from Iran, and numerous other anti-American/anti-Semite/pro-abortion etc sites (See "Who Really Supports Obama").

According to the site, I am one of the "American warmongers" that his site is fighting against, along with President Ronald Reagan and retired LTC Oliver North, and that I somehow twisted one of his fellow Iranians views, which I am said to know nothing about.

Well, let me tell you what I do know about Iran via quotes of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad(Courtesy of BBC News):

"The corrupt powers like America, the criminal Britain and the shameful and humiliated Zionist regime were armed up to their teeth with laser bombs, advanced aircraft, advanced tanks, an accurate artillery and a wicked and vicious army..."

“Iran is ready to transfer nuclear know-how to the Islamic countries due to their need."

"We say that this fake regime [Israel] cannot not logically continue to live." (April 24, 2006)

"Everyone knows that the Zionist regime is a tool in the hands of the United States and British governments. "

"The world powers established this filthy bacteria, the Zionist regime [Israel], which is lashing out at the nations in the region like a wild beast."

"We did not have a revolution in order to have democracy."

Yeah, I think its pretty cut and dry what Iran stands for. Not a whole lot of room for misinterpretation that we are a bacteria that needs exterminated along with Israel and Britain.

So, again I say, the reason why these people support Obama is because they know he is weak and will bend to them, either by little force, or possibly willingly. While Obama is out saying "Iran is a tiny country that doesn't pose much of a threat to the US", they are nodding and smiling and developing weapons to bring our demise. And if I were them, I would be begging and pleading for an Obama victory in November too.

...Because when McCain wins, the jig is up. And remember, we heard a lot of speeches coming out of a country geographically very close to Iran who possessed one of the top 5 most powerful military's in the world and their dictator vowed the quick and absolute destruction to our armed forces.

And within 72 hours the US rolled over their military and Republican Guard and had the keys to Baghdad and that dictator hid underground in shelters like a roach until he was captured, tried and hung by his own people.

Welcome to the big leagues now. Haven't been called that yet, but was called a racist for not being in favor of Obama by most of the black people I know.

Iran is a 2nd rate nation at best. They can't export any knowledge since they don't have the expertise yet. And they might never have it.

BTW: Sent this to their site in your defense. Trying to get them upset at me. Need the exercise.

No it's a brilliant example of pure American patriotism. You would know that if you had an ounce of the substance, but unfortunately it cannot be bought on the Black Market. It has to come from within.

My guns are loaded and I'm awaiting the second volley.

Well, let's try to explain this so that even you can understand...
We are a site which supports the American values of democracy and freedom and strongly opposes the regime of reaction ruling our home country. How does the fact that we support Obama demonstrate that the Islamic Republic supports him? We OPPOSE the Islamic Republic.
You automatically identify all Iranians as supporters of the Islamic Republic. To demean an entire race of people, well, yes, that is racist. Sorry.

An Findalis, you poor thing, I'm not upset with you. I feel sorry for you. Sorry for the loss of your husband, sorry for the loss of your common sense and reason. I pray for your recovery.

Iranians for Obama-
I surely hope your country gets out from under the yoke of terror they currently face.
But in backing Obama you've picked the wrong horse.
Do you support him because you think he is more likely to help Anti-Israeli causes?

You can do more to help Iran if you stay away from political arguments.
I'm hearing rumblings in the distance, and I fear for Iranians.
