Veni, vidi, vici.
Liberal Attacks and Smears Came.
America Saw.
Paulin Conquered.
On a night in which it seemed like both sides of the political spectrum were holding their breathes, (the left hoping for another chance the smear Palin, the right hoping she would show the brilliance that made her the highest approved Governor in the United States) Sarah Palin rose like the Phoenix from the ashes to put the Obama camp on the retreat and victory in November close in hand for McCain.
Google reported the highest number of search engine hits for any political figure in one day for Sarah Palin, major media networks had countdown clocks until her speech, and former Governors Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and the Hon. Rudy Giuliani set the expectations high in prelude and Palin not only did not disappoint, she impressed.
Her brilliant speech in light of the recent libel filled and slanderous attacks from the left was phenomenal, at one point stating she realized she wasn't winning any friends with the liberal media and Washington pundits, but that wasn't why she was there - she was there to serve the American people.
Palin has been under incredible pressure due to the attacks on her family by such irreputable sources as the Huffington Post and the DailyKos, which were relied upon heavily by the mainstream media for their sources of information. By most accounts, according to the Huffington Post, they expected Palin to crumble like a "good housewife's cookie" and step-down as the VP nominee. After her speech Wednesday night, the Huffington Post might need a glass of spilt milk to wash that cookie down their slimy throats.
Further, the attacks have backfired on the left, as a recent poll featured on Yahoo shows that the majority of the respondents felt the media was attacking Palin unjustifiably and many also felt the attacks made them more likly to vote for Palin.
Its hard to imagine having such a ticket who can handle the immense pressure that the Presidency holds, McCain overcoming the torturous experience of being a POW and Palin defying the fringe left's character assassination attempts.
Contrast this with the Obama-Biden ticket, in which neither has faced much if any adversity during their campaign and careers, and it is becoming more and more clear that McCain and Palin are the superior choice given the current state of affairs in the country.
The Obama campaign is reeling now, with staffers admitting to Fox News today their two worst fears came true last night as Palin unified and electrified the Republican party behind the McCain ticket, and she proved her abilities and her courage under fire.
Tonight, after Palin opened the door, McCain has an opportunity to close it on the Obama ticket and set his ticket up for a victory in November.
...and that's the way the left's cookie crumbles.

Obamaopolis: The Nero of Our Time

The biggest insult to Animal House in thirty years comes on the heels of the much anticipated address by Barack Obama at during the continuation of the "Debacle in Denver". In case you haven't already heard, the Obama camp has built an elaborate set of Obama to address his people, straight out of Hollywood. Could this truly be a foreshadowing of things to come?
Obama's campaign manager David Plouffe defended the set by attacking the McCain camp saying "I can't help it he wants to use a set out of a 70's Phil Donahue show." Clearly, they have to idea that their convention has been based on glitz and glamour and not planks and plans.
Obama clearly is a glory hound. The whole camp from Michelle to Plouffe's gut wrenched when any attention was diverted towards the Clinton's, begrudgingly allowing them time at "their" convention, and insisting that the Clinton's participation consisted of Obama adoration. What's

Nero, the last emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty, rule what characterized by tyranny and extravagance. At one point, he executed his own mother to protect and advance his own career. Not too much different from Obama's promotion of his own career through his incessant usage of the background of his mother.
Nero, the adopted child of Caligula. Obama the adopted child of Kennedy.
Nero had no political experience and became emperor of Rome at sixteen. He had to rely heavily on the constant supervision of his advisers, to which he eventually killed or imprisoned. His lack of experience and obsession with fame and popularity were a constant challenge for the leadership of Rome and eventually led to its downfall.
Nero used his growing power to eliminate his rivals, accusing advisers and challengers of embezzlement and other fiction. Obama's politics is some of the dirtiest in the modern era, out-slying the undisputed champions, the Clintons, and ceaselessly attacking the Republican party based on fictitious claims without the substance to back them up.
Nero sought out peace from the Parthian's, who were lead by Syrian Prince Tiradates, despite the wishes of his top military and diplomatic advisers. The move left Rome in a great state of peril and vulnerability. Obama, despite the urges and leadership of Gen. Petraus, seeks to end the war in Iraq, and unconditionally negotiate with Iran. Doing so will put the this country in a state ripe for the picking for intimidation and attack.
Nero was a hero of the lower class, and made rulings to appease them to increase his popularity which he was obsessed with. Tax collectors were accused of "being too harsh on the poor", which were made up for by heavy taxation of the moderate to rich citizens of Rome, despite being warned repeatedly that his actions would bankrupt the empire. Obama has become the trumpeter of increasing taxes on the middle to upper classes, while redistributing that money to the poor in the form of socialized medicine and other promised, but ill-advised and ill-planned projects. Similarly, these plans are projected to bankrupt the American reserve.
Finally, a Vindex, a governor who's own people went from a land of prosperity to a land of destitution under Nero's taxation program, rebelled against his practices, which led to Nero's upheaval.
Those of us who do not know out history are condemned to repeat it -- one of the great reasons the left has pushed for revisionist history. Their is no cheap stunt, tactic or charade that mankind has not seen before. We shouldn't be surprised when we keep getting bit by the rattlesnake we insist on petting.

Napalm in the Morning: Kennedy Drops the Baton
It's official folks. Day one of the "Debacle in Denver" is in the books and the DNC who was hoping for a home run right off the bat is batting 0 for 2, especially when it comes to speaking about anything of any real substance. After almost two years of campaigning, you'd think you might actually hear a proposed plan, or something that vaguely represents specificity.
Starting off for the speakers of any real note, was Teddy Kennedy (D) Mass, and I've got to tell you, seeing him on stage in his condition was a pathetic. Not pathetic because the man is going through a horrendous battle with cancer, but pathetic that the whole premise of his speech, was to pass the baton of the Kennedy name and blessing onto the Obama family, who apparently are the new Knights of Camelot.
What's pathetic about that? Well, first of all, Barrack Obama is nothing like JFK, who in my eyes, was the last President from the democrat party worth anything. JFK was pro strong national defense, pro military, pro nuclear family and centered his policies truly around not what your country could do for you, but what you could do for your country. Obama on the other hand, well....no one is really sure what he is for or against other than he is going to bring hope and change, however most of his ideology seems to be centered on what you country can do for you, not what you can do for your country. Further, he has rousing endorsements from NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association), is very pro-abortion and promotes the gay agenda.
Now I'll admit, JFK was far from perfect and you have to question his moral character (Bay of Pigs/Marilyn anyone?) but he did promote a stance that I agreed with as mentioned above in regards to the military and national defense.
Second, the baton twirl and pass to Obama had to have come as a great insult to the Clinton family and supporters. Let's face it, the Clinton family was and is the real heir apparent to take the reigns to the democratic party, like it or not, and for Kennedy, who already stabbed Hillary in the back to do this made the whole endorsement seem cheapened. Now, it ought to get real interesting the next two evenings where Denver becomes the New Little Rock.
Lastly, how will it look for Kennedy to have done this, to pass the proverbial torch forward, to a candidate that is starting to look more and more like he might just cough the football up on the goal line. My brain is too fried to remember for sure or not, but I'm pretty sure Kennedy passed this torch on before to John Kerry and possibly even Al Gore in 2000. I mean, how many torches does this guy have?
And as far as his speech itself? Nothing, as far as a plan for how any of this hope was to be instilled or change was to occur, but he did leave us with a few interesting contrasts and comparisons:
“For me this is a season of hope — new hope for a justice and fair prosperity for the many, and not just for the few — new hope. And this is the cause of my life — new hope that we will break the old gridlock and guarantee that every American — north, south, east, west, young, old — will have decent, quality health care as a fundamental right and not a privilege.’’ Ted Kennedy, DNC Convention 08
versus:
"And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country. " John F. Kennedy
"For me this is a season of hope -- new hope for a justice and fair prosperity for the many, and not just for the few -- new hope." Ted Kennedy, DNC Convention 08
versus:
"There is always inequality in life. Some men are killed in a war and some men are wounded and some men never leave the country. Life is unfair." John F. Kennedy
"And Barack Obama will be a commander in chief who understands that young Americans in uniform must never be committed to a mistake" Ted Kennedy, DNC Convention 08
versus:
"In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility - I welcome it. "
John F. Kennedy
Truly, as Zell Miller said so eloquently in 2004, this is not the same democratic party anymore.

Obama's Convention Speech: Intercepted by the Circus!

Just got an email of from flying circus intel today. Apparently we've intercepted Obama's acceptance speech, planned for the convention in Denver.
Yeah baby, the Flying Circus is on point today and remember, we're bringing it to you first, so you don't have to bother tuning in the the Communist News Network.
My fellow Americans: As your future President I want to thank my supporters, for your mindless support of me, despite my complete lack of any legislative achievement, my pastor's relations with Louis Farrakhan and Libyan dictator Moamar Quadafi, or my blatantly leftist voting record while I present myself as some sort of bi-partisan agent of change. I also like how my supporters claim my youthful drug use and criminal behavior somehow qualifies me for the Presidency after 8 years of claiming Bush's youthful drinking disqualifies him. Your hypocrisy is a beacon of hope shining over a sea of political posing. I would also like to thank the Kennedy's for coming out in support of me. There's a lot of glamour behind the Kennedy name, even though JFK started the Vietnam War, his brother Robert illegally wiretapped Martin Luther King, Jr. and Teddy killed a female employee with whom he was having an extra marital affair and who was pregnant with his child. And I'm not going anywhere near the cousins, both literally and figuratively. And I'd like to thank Oprah Winfrey for her support. Her love of meaningless empty platitudes will be the force that propels me to the White House. Americans should vote for me, not because of my lack of experience or achievement , but because I make people feel good. Voting for me causes some white folk to feel relieved of their imagined, racist guilt. I say things that sound meaningful, but don't really mean anything because Americans are tired of things having meaning. If things have meaning, then that means you have to think about them. Americans are tired of thinking. It's time to shut down the brain, and open up the heart. So when you go to vote, remember don't think, just do. And do it for me.
Thank You.
Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.
